SPECIALIST MENTORING TRAINING SERIES
In our 'Specialist Mentoring Training Series,' we help people learn the qualities and useful abilities needed to become successful mentors. Our courses and materials also tackle important social problems like mental health, child sexual exploitation, domestic abuse, homelessness, and addiction. This training is designed to assist volunteers, mentors in training and church youth workers. You will be equipped to support and strenghten discipleship relationships and to create a positive impact in churches and community programmes by forming meaningful and dependable mentoring relationships with young people who are facing challenges.
This course will broaden your knowledge and awareness of mental health and social issues so you can better understand the key issues facing marginalised individuals in your church and community. Drawing upon effective mentoring and coaching techniques, this course will equip you with the practical tools you need to be able to strengthen discipleship relationships and cultivate effective and trusting connections with your mentees - ultimately improving the longer-term opportunities for marginalised people.
